Input Scores (Unverified)

Once athletes have completed their monthly match, the athlete should input their scores under the Input option on the App. Once the athlete has input their scores, their name and results will turn Amber and be marked as Unverified. Unverified scores are not shown in any monthly or year to date tables , except in the athlete's My Stuff. Even when scores are verified, the monthly and season to date tables are not updated until the 1st day of the next month, this prevents a late competitor gaining advantage by knowing other athlete's scores. Should an athlete be unable to input their score, they may appeal to their Coach to input it on their behalf.

Input Scores (Verified / Witnessed)

An athlete's unverified score needs to be verified by a Coach or validated by a Witness. The Coach/Witness does this by going into the Input Score option , opening the score for editing and saving it (with or without adjustment, as required). If a Coach does this, the athlete's name will then turn green and be marked as Verified. If a Witness does this the player's name will turn pink and be marked as Witnessed.

If a Coach Inputs an athlete's score for them, the player will go straight to Verified status.  The coach may correct errors in any athlete's Verified scores.

On the first day of the following month, all Verified scores will appear in the monthly and season tables. Witnessed scores will appear in monthly tables but not season to date tables.

Should a Coach/Witness fail to Input/Verify/Witness a player's score before the end of the month, they may appeal to the Administrator to act on their behalf.

Match Opt-Out / Unplayed Matches / Discard Months

Should a player, for whatever reason, not play their monthly match, no scores will be input and the athlete's name excluded from results for that month.

Discipline Opt-Out

Should a player, for whatever reason, be unable to complete any one discipline in a course, then they may opt-out of completing that discipline by notifying the Coach, prior to the match commencing. The Coach for that match shall enter a score of 1 for that discipline and the athlete must complete one of the two substitute moves . Scores for other disciples, properly completed, will be entered as normal. The score of 1 and the substitute move score are not included in the monthly or season to date scores. If an athlete opts out of more than 2 moves in a match, no results are included in squad scores for the month or season to date.

Matches

Each registered athlete should complete a match each month. It is the Squad captain’s responsibility to motivate their squad to attend one of the pre-arranged group matches or complete a match one-on-one with a judge if they are unable to attend the pre-arranged group matches.

Adjudication

Each Fit League match should be adjudicated by a Fit League Judge. Judges may not adjudicate a match in which they are playing.

Optionally, an Athlete may choose to complete their match in the presence of a Witness. Any player on an opposing team can be called as a Witness. It is the Athlete's responsibility to ensure the Athlete they choose to witness their match, is experienced enough to do so. Athlete's status (Player/Coach/Witness) is shown on the Summary page that is seen when the app is first opened. The Witness must go to the 3-stripes menu, select Settings and select the Witness box in the Mode option.

A match performed in front of a Witness, will require verification from a Coach.

Player Injury During Fixture

In the event of minor injury during a fixture, meaning a player can’t complete a discipline: the match will be paused, the injury will be dealt with and, at the judge's discretion, the match restarted with or without the injured player. A discipline may have to be restarted and the injured player may opt-out of any restarted or remaining disciplines. In the event of major injury, the fixture will be abandoned and either rearranged or cancelled. A cancelled fixture would result in no scores being entered for all players.
